Whenever I would visit New York, I would always make it a point to spend time in Central Park to decompress from the hustle and bustle of the city. Around LA, there aren't that many places to escape to and so when we found Arlington Gardens in Pasadena, we were smitten with its maze of plants and flowers. It really was our secret garden to play in. Every corner we turned, there were plants that could only be imagined by Dr. Seuss. After a last couple weeks of stress and hard work, we definitely got our Japanese Zen vibe on exploring this garden.

Such a pretty location! I love the rock pattern in the last photo :) And those gorgeous, little flowers you were holding! Talk about the perfect accessory

so happy that the warmer weather has arrived here in my city and that means the parks are open longer and with more greeneries and flowers!! :D can't go wrong with your own secret spot though. :)

Aw Central Park always seems to have hidden treasures within it. I've barely been in it but it seems so amazing in there! Plus all of the beautiful apartments that line the park is always fun to walk along:) Love the pictures and I hope you had a great time!

That one plant really does give off some Dr. Seuss vibes. Yeah sometimes you just need to be around a calm environment to relieve stress, helps put things in perspective.
